A insect inspired female headgear made of several parts interlocked by zippers.
Using interlocking zippers instead of traditional stitching allows different combinations of each accessory. Like in a puzzle, intention is to put together pieces in a logical way in order to come up with the desired design.
By changing just one part of the mask the whole look of this headgear is changing. By change of the form, wearer transforms it’s own appearance each time he zippers parts together.
This way the YKK zippers become a key element in both design and function.
At the moment I am working on another piece for YKK and it will be realized in 2015
