Ana Rajcevic presented Taurus at Kalmar Konstmuseum in Sweden as a wall-based sculptural work connected to her ongoing exploration of hybrid anatomies and speculative evolutionary forms.
Part of the wider series Animal: The Other Side of Evolution, Taurus draws from animal structures such as horns and skeletal forms, proposing an alternative evolutionary narrative where the human body develops new anatomical extensions.
Displayed as sculpture, the piece functions as a conceptual artifact from an imagined future, examining identity, transformation and the porous boundary between the human and the animal.
