The solo exhibition Animal: The Other Side of Evolution by Ana Rajcevic was presented at DC1 Gallery in the United Kingdom. The exhibition showcased a series of sculptural prosthetics that imagine alternative evolutionary paths for the human body.
Inspired by animal anatomy and evolutionary biology, the works propose hybrid extensions of the human body, blurring the boundaries between sculpture, fashion and wearable design. The objects appear simultaneously as artifacts from an imagined future and as contemporary sculptural works.
The exhibition highlighted Rajcevic’s ongoing research into hybrid prosthetics and speculative evolution, positioning her work within contemporary discussions about identity, technology and biological transformation.
