State Studio has presented projects investigating experimental design, contemporary sculpture and interdisciplinary artistic practices. Ana Rajcevic’s work fits within this context through her exploration of hybrid prosthetics and speculative evolutionary forms.
Her series Animal: The Other Side of Evolution proposes alternative evolutionary scenarios where human bodies develop anatomical structures inspired by animal biology. The sculptural objects function as both wearable artifacts and conceptual sculptures.
Through these works Rajcevic examines themes of identity, adaptation and the evolving relationship between humans, animals and technology.
