Ana Rajcevic presented the work Taurus at MuseumsQuartier (MQ21) in Vienna as part of the Transfashional exhibition, a context that connects contemporary fashion practices with performance, identity and experimental body-based design.
Taurus belongs to Rajcevic’s artistic research into hybrid prosthetics and speculative evolution. Inspired by animal morphology and mythological symbolism, the piece reimagines the body as a site of transformation where sculpture becomes an extension of anatomy.
Positioned between wearable artifact and autonomous sculpture, the work challenges conventional boundaries between fashion, design and contemporary art, while opening questions about how bodies might evolve through biological inspiration rather than purely technological enhancement.
